Chocolate missions

My friend Chris Keenan aka Prime Objective has recently completed a commission for the world famous chocolate makers Cadbury’s. Their original site and HQ to this day is in Bournville, Birmingham, not to far from me. Chris was one of four artists who won a commission to make new works for the recently and very nicely refurbished ‘Bournville Place’ building. 

Using their unmistakable brand colour, Chris created the series ‘Purple Interventions’ using locations in an around the factory. Three were chosen to display in the new building. Some great work again from Chris. 

My personal faves are the Drumkit and the Chopper (unfortunately not in the final cut!).

I’m not sure if he was paid in chocolate but I haven’t seen him for a while!…. hmmm
